Most incumbents opt out of Wasaga Beach meet-the-candidates

Wasaga Beach election

Where was Cal, Nina, George (ok George came toward the end), and Morley???? They decided that it was fine to opt out of the first all candidates meeting leading up to the October municipal election. Patterson, Bifolchi and Bercovitch both declined an invitation to the meeting saying they would prefer to wait until the September filing deadline has passed and all candidates are declared.

Really! That's a lame excuse if you ask me. If they wanted to wait until September then why would they all be the first out of the gate to file their papers?

Anyway here are some of the talking points from the meeting which was attended by over 100 residents.
